Dhcp ip query in APM

Hi All

 

A basic question about apm, when a machine connected to ssl vpn via apm receives an IP from defined range in leasepool. Please help on the following understanding.

 

1. Does APM act like dhcp server in this case & how does it track which ip is free/used ?
2. Does APM in this scenario maintain arp table or any such table to have ip-to-mac binding detail ?
3. Also does apm fix a specific lease time ?
