create a volume on disk to install OS
Hi I was able to delete a partition on my big ip ltm 11.2 - hd1.1 has been deleted -but there is no way of re creating it now.
Do you have a procedure please ?

Hi,
you can use the following tmsh sytax:
install sys software image create-volume volume
- afedden_1985Cirrus
from the GUI:
example Install the 11.5.1 HF4-ENG Software: a.Navigate to System ›› Software management ›› Hotfix list or image, depends on what your using for an image Note: The Hotfix install will install the base image, prior to the HF. b.Select Check box next to Hotfix image, click on install c.Select a disk HD1 and in the Volume set name field enter a 1 then click on install d.Click Install. Monitor the progress bar for Boot location MD1.1. this will create a volume md1.1 with the code image you selected
