Hi Mate, best place to start will be to check release notes of 11.4.0 code. These release notes list all bug fixes, prerequisites, and above all "Upgrade Procedure". https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/products/big-ip_ltm/releasenotes/product/relnote-ltm-11-4-0.html If your F5 is not standalone, and is in HA pair, then there are articles on F5 site listing upgrade process. One of them is below:- https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/products/big-ip_ltm/releasenotes/product/relnote-ltm-11-4-0.html Basic high-level process is:- 1.Reactivate the licence 2.Download the image and hotfix(if any) from F5 3.Upload the image to F5 4.Install the new code on a passive partition(oen not being used) 5.Once successful installed, boot into the partition where new code is installed.

Things to look out for:- 1.Make sure to verify checksum of image to ensure its not corrupted 2.Read release notes carefully 3.If using iRule, check if all commands used in iRules are not discontinued or changed.(I fell into this pitfall recently) 4.Do it once in Lab, before you do production, if possible. 5.Make sure you have access to out-of-band management and console, for just in case.
