Can not change the CLI password of an Administrator Account
Hi, Recently I tried to change the password of my Administrator Account of F5 using CLI.
My_ID@(XXXXXXXX)(cfg-sync In Sync)(Active)(/Common)(tmos) modify auth password My_ID
changing password for My_ID
new password:
confirm password:
My_ID@(XXXXXXXX)(cfg-sync In Sync)(Active)(/Common)(tmos) save /sys config
Saving running configuration...
/config/bigip.conf
/config/bigip_base.conf
/config/bigip_user.conf
Even though is was saved successfully, new password doesn't get accepted in next login. Again and again it only accept old password.
Could you please help on this.
Thanks.

I tried these steps in my lab unit running 13.0.0, and works fine. Is the F5 configured for remote authentication? Can you change via GUI?
