Build F5 UCS File and Import in Hardware Platform
Hi,
I want to build manual F5 Config UCS file in my vmware LAB with version 12.1 and then export that UCS file and use in my production hardware box running with version 12.1.
Is there any limitations to build ucs file in vmware to be used on any F5 hardware platforms.

Hi Korai, The BIG-IP license is associated with a specific hardware serial number. Hence in new big-ip system you have import old ucs file without license with command below.
tmsh load /sys ucs <path/to/UCS> no-license

Thanks,
So once I have UCS file from virtual F5 and then I will access new hardware F5 and Import UCS with No License as below
tmsh load /sys ucs <path/to/UCS> no-license
I think then I need to reactivate license once new UCS Imported
So means I can use UCS file build in virtual F5 and use in Hardware F5 Appliance.
Is there any limitations in hardware which doesnt accepts UCS files generated in virtual F5 running on vmware/ESXI hosts.
