BIG-IQ: Migrating applications to new device

We are in the process of migrating from VCMP appliances to VE.

Is it possible to migrate an application service to another LTM within a device group?

I am attempting to deploy to the new VE LTM but receive an error stating that the application service already exists on the old VCMP LTM.

processResponse: 422 [partition] [localhost ] Application Service [application] already exists on [old LTM];

My first thought is to delete the application service, and redeploy to the new LTM, however, this seems needlessly destructive if there is a way to migrate.
