AltostratusBIG-IQ can't figure out Evaluation results
Hi,
Just testing BIG-IQ 5.2.0 and BIG-IP 13.0.0HF2 VE.
Scenario:
- BIG-IP Re-discovered
- Results Re-imported - no messages about conflicts between BIG-IQ and BIG-IP
- Evaluation job created with settings as below:
- After job is performed I have info about Removed objects like below:
I did check both BIG-IP - all objects listed as Removed are existing on BIG-IP - so this part is true. I as well did search on BIG-IQ in Configuration -> Profiles (most objects listed as Removed are profiles) - all listed objects can be found on BIG-IQ.
I don't understand why Evaluation list objects as Removed - not existing on BIG-IQ.
First of all those objects exists on BIG-IQ.
Second, even those objects did not exist then after sucesfull Re-discover and Re-import of BIG-IP should be created on BIG-IQ.
So what Am I missing here?

Evaluation means it is comparing the configuration you have in the BIGIQ for that BIGIP. Having the profile in the BIGIQ does not mean it applied to that BIGIP.
The other thing is that you refer to "both BIGIP", but in your image you only select one BIGIP.
Lastly, yes, if you re-import the LTM configuration for that BIGIP, it should show you the latest configuration.
