Big IP v9 - Session expires

Hi there,

 

 

I'm using the Big IP Load Balancer v9. There are VLANs external: A, B, C and internal: D.

 

 

I am able to ping from a device in VLAN D to a device in VLAN A after configuring a Virtual Net as forwarding IP. All ports and all protocolls are allowed. But I can't establish connection on Port 8091.

 

 

I have enabled 'Loose Initiation' and 'Loose Close' in FastL4 Protocol.

 

 

When I use TCP Dump is see the packets on all interfaces but I see the answer approx. 5 minutes later.

 

 

Do you have an idea how to solve this problem?

    Hello again,

     

     

    just for information. I've solved the Problem right now.

     

     

    I changed the 'Idle Timeout' to Immediate in the FastL4 Protocol for my forwarding IPs. I cannot explain why this setting solved my problem but it did.

     

     

    Can anyone tell me why this setting is responsible for this communication to work?

     

     

    Communication to other servers on any port worked earlier.
