BIG-IP initial account setup issues
I ran into an issue durung the initial setup on a new BIG-IP (11.x) LTM appliance. I have created a new account to log into the WebUI however I did not have enough time to complete the initial setup before my session timed out. When I returned to log back into the device to continue configuration I found that I am unable to log into the device with the credentials that I have just set up. I have tried logging into the webUI and console using the default passwords with no success. I understand that creating credentials during the initial setup disables the default account but is there any other way to regain access to the appliance?

I've never seen the admin/root accounts disabled. If you can't get into the GUI with the admin account, you could try logging in via ssh (if ssh is enabled) using "root". You can reset the root password using http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/100/sol13121.htmlp3
