Are Topology records unique to all wideIPs?
Hi,
In our GTMs (v10.2.3), we have one wideIP with topology load balancing method at the pool level, and a set of topology records for that wideIP. We would like to use topology method for another wideIP/pool but with diferents topology requirments. As I see, it's seems there is no way to create another set of topology records independent of the firts ones and associate it with the new wideIP. ¿it's that correct? ¿maybe with iRule?
Thank's a lot.
Your existing topology records should reference existing pools. If your new wide IP will use different pools than your existing wide IP, then you can just create the new topology records referencing the new pools. Then apply those new pools to your new wide IP.
If your new wide IP will use the existing pools referenced in your existing topology records, then both the existing and new wide IP will use the same existing topology records.
Hope this makes sense.

Yes, it's makes sense. The problem is that my Topology records reference DataCenters, not pools, but I'll think about change this.
Thank you!
