archive / config file become 20Mb in size | BIGIP - 3600

hi there

 

after using the SCF method to import/export configuration data from one 3600 to another, the size of the archive file before the export was 3Mb and now it is 18Mb.

 

The data compared between the old and new device are the same !

 

Any idea why that is ? Same LTM Base licence.

    can you extract scf and sort filesize?

    e.g.

    [root@VIP4800-R77-S28:/S2-green-P:Active:Standalone] config  tar tvf /var/local/scf/test.scf.tar |sort -rnk3

    do a tar -ztpf on both UCS files and diff the output, it will tell you which files cause the increase. could be logging or such.
