Application Performance mentoring
Hi
Usually, I have to handle a situation where some customers own performance mentoring tool that used to simulate user activities\reguests against F5 virtual servers.
The problem is sometimes these tools raise alerts like too much delay in load time which requires me to investigate F5 units, I usually check the F5 system performance statistics\throughput but no trails, and due to the high-volume production traffic and the non-consistence nature of the issue its hard to capture the traffic.
is there any strategy or suggestions on how to investigate these kinds of issues?

As I see from your question monitoring system is reporting latency issues.
- Firstly you can setup test vip for yourself having nodes which you can manage.
- You can lookup for number of connections/requests per sec graphs.

Hi Andy creating a test vip is a good solution for less traffic, however, connections\requests graph doesn't really help to understand the high load time cause

In this scenario, you should start looking for abnormal logs in ltm.
However i would like to ask during the time tool reports are there any complaints from end customer using these vip ?
