Ansible for "just" reading configuration?
I have been using Ansible a lot for various networking activities along with unix stuff. One good example with Ansible modules for Cisco IOS is that they can pull entire configuration from remote host to server from where Ansible is being executed.
In my environment I have only read access to our F5 tmos shell. All Ansible modules I see are for performing configuration changes but none which is just for reading configuration.
Did I miss anything?
I would simply like to read pool members, monitoring policies, status of members etc.
I know I can explore with command module but having modules really makes it easy and is actually the Ansible way? :)

I see this module, but it was tested with only Manager level, not read-only.

clarify.. you are saying 'admnistrator' when you say 'manager level', correct.
It is a shame that the only access that seems to be provided through iControl is full administrator access. there doesn't seem to be a concept of roles.
