AFM text based logs?

The firewall log search (Security->Event Log->Network->Firewall) on our system is too slow to be usable, is there a log file on the system we can tail/grep? I suspect its stored as binary but would love to be wrong

    Hi,

    The logs depend on the configuration of the logging profile and the rule.  Please see the following KB to assist in sending logs to /var/log/ltm which you can then tail.

    A better solution would be to use the HSL function to send the logs off to system dedicated to collecint logs from the network devices you operate.
