About using rate shaping stats in iRule

Hi,

 

 

We need to use an irule to control a virtual server with a 2 Mbps rate class, and then send traffic to pool1 until the incoming UDP traffic is more than 2 Mbps, and then, instead of letting the big-ip to drop packets, to pool to pool2 while there is overhead…

 

 

The thing is: how can we get the class rate queued or dropped packets statistic to make pool decisions in the irule? Can we invoke the system statistics in an iRule?

 

 

Any advice is really welcome!!!!!
