3DNS state change green --> red

Hello,

I am not sure if this is the right forum to place my question, but maybe somebody can hint me in the right direction: I have a redundant Internet connection, and for some reason, my 3DNS tells me that it is failing over, although the Internet connections are both running without any problems or interruptions. Here is what I get from the 3DNS SA:

Oct 18 08:02:11 server01 3dnsd: SNMP_TRAP:ECV (URL=http://www.google.nl:8080/index.html|Google|, VS=192.168.127.65:8080, Result=200) state change red --> green

I cannot figure out where these messages come form, or what to do with them. If anybody has an idea, that would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

GP

    Hi GP -

    The message above is reporting success of an ECV (monitor) configured to reach out to google to verify the link availability, so the state of the virtual server 192.168.127.65:8080 which depends on that ECV has been toggled back to available.

    If you are seeing the VS state flap down & then shortly back up again periodically, I'd make sure your monitor timeouts are long enough.
