CirrusI would like to convert a string to lower case. I'm trying to do this in the variable assign and see the results in logging. How would I write the expression so that it would convert the username to lower case and insert into a custom variable?

The difference really is what you want it to return. The "return" command will simply return the value that you're setting, while the "expr" command is usually for Boolean operations.
EmployeeYou can technically use expr to return information, but it is semantically meant (as you stated) for expressions (math, logic). The return command will return any information that you provide, be it integer, string, etc (other than math/logic).
