Transfer my ASM unlimited lic to new LTM platform

Hi Guys,

I have this situation here that I am setting up i2600 platform to replace the EOL 3600 Appliance.

Config migration is complete and they are ready to be racked up.

I realized my old LTM had ASM license along with policy configurations and I am wondering if I can use same in the new Platform or do I need to purchanse new ASM license? What will happed if I put in the old ASM license and active on the new platform?

Appreciate some clarification on this.

You can only activate an add-on license key for one device. To move an add-on license key from one device to a different device, you must contact F5 Technical Support.
