Sync Failed Configuration error: Can't delete application template

I am seeing sync failed on F5s. The error is below

Sync Failed
 
A validation error occurred while syncing to a remote device
 
Sync error on f5name01.f5.com Load failed from /Common/f5name00.f5.com 01070734:3: Configuration error: Can't delete application template (/Common/f5.bigiq-analytics) it is referenced by one or more applications (/Common/bigiq-analytics.app/bigiq-analytics)
 
Recommended action: Review the error message and determine corrective action on the device

I believe we cannot delete anything if its associated to any profiles.. therefore the deletion will not even proceed. I check both F5 (Active and Standby) both have bigiq-analytics.app template.. I’m not sure why is it causing sync failed. Is this a bug?

What else do you see in ltm log?

Your iapp seems to be referring to this, can you try to delete the iapp itself?

I can't say anything about why the error occurred. You can try this command for sync.

tmsh run cm config-sync force-full-load-push to-group <group name>
