Please help me to understand how to calculate ssl tps?
SSL cert for an existing VS is being upgraded from 2048 to 4096. Before upgrade , the ssl traffuc generates an average of 3000 SSL TPS. The bigip hardware supports 4000 ssl tps ( 2048 keysize). So upto what ssl tps the bigip should be upgraded to ?

If I understand correctly, you'll need a license for 15000 SSL TPS.
The 4000 SSL TPS is valid for keys with a size from 2048 to 4095 bits. For 4096 bit keys the 4000 SSL TPS license is 20% of the licensed TPS, so 800 SSL TPS. If you need 3000 SSL TPS in use with 4096 bit keys, you'll need a license of 15000 SSL TPS. In this case an I4800 appliance will do ( 20K SSL TPS license).
