SSH port handling in event of application server timeouts

Hello,

 

Summarizing a situation:

 

F5 is handling incoming/outgoing connections to an MFT server for all SFTP/HTTPS/FTPS services. In an event that the MFT server is in either maintenance mode or down, I would like to ask the following question from you gurus:

 

1) Is there a way to auto respond from F5 "Server Down" for SFTP/FTPS requests coming from outside hitting F5 in case the MFT server is down?

 

Already have irules to let the clients know if HTTPS servicing server is down.
