Script Backup-Automatic and Scheduled

Hi team.

I have created a script where I do automatic backups and the send this backup to a server FTP, so when I saw that it works manually the next step was to configure a cron utility, the goal is run the cron utility every week and have the backup F5 in the FTP server.

So last week we saw that the cron is not working, we check the log, we found this message:

(CRON) DEATH (can´t lock /var/log/crond.pid, otherpid may be 4567): Resource temporarily unavailable.

Any one have been the same issue or some advice for fix it?.

Hey,

It seems cron is either crashed or stuck. You may try to kill the process and check.

Hi Mayur, thanks for your time, I didi your suggestion, and the behavior was the same.

The good new is, we fix it with an iCall.
