Replacing Failed HDD on F5 Big IP 8950, keep the state "replicating"

hi:

i am attempting to replace a failed HDD on a 8950 series using https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K12756.

physically insert the disk to bay,on the configuration utility "System > RAID Management",select the new disk and than "add disk to raid",the array status of the affected drive is identified as replicating.

however, the array rebuilding process typically takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes to complete, but a few hours later, the array status of the affected drive keep this state.

has anyone had this experience? kindly!

Time taken for replicating is totally depends on how huge the data is. Have you tries to swap hard drive ? Do that first it may be issue with the slot ? try to isolate the issue as much as possible.

Thanks for the reply, I have already solved the problem. I opened a case and found that there was a hard disk with hardware failure.
