In prod we have few of the mcafee proixes servers (webwashers) x4 in a pool and users web traffic requests are load balance by our F5 GTM using Round Robin. The config at present is using default_tcp monitor on the server level and not doing any content checking healthchecking on pool level so if a proxy server engine is down or something, the F5 still sending a request to the server blackhole user's request.
I am think about monitoring a web page say google and expect 200 OK!
My quesion is anyone using the mcafee proxies and what type of healthchecks are you using? Also change LB from Round Robin to least connect.
