What is Omnissa Unified Access Gateway?

The Omnissa Unified Access Gateway (UAG), previously known as VMware Unified Access Gateway or VMware Access Point, is an appliance typically installed in the demilitarized zone (DMZ). UAG is designed to provide secure access to desktop and application resources for remote users. It simplifies gateway access and enables tunneled and proxied connections for various Omnissa product suites.
