LTM Virtual IP and Pool Members IP Address

Hi Guys,

Would like to understand which is the best and recommended way for designing LB setup out of below.

1- LTM Virtual IP and Pool Members from same IP pool (eg 10.10.10.0/24)

2- LTM Virtual IP and Pool member from different IP pools [LTM VIP 10.10.10.0/24 and Pool Members - 10.100.100.0/24]

Whichever out of above is evergreen approach and What are the PROS and CONS of both these approaches.
