Issues Syncing iOS 4 devices through ASM after upgrade to 11.2

We recently upgraded a device from 10.2.0 to 11.2 HF1, and we have the ASM in front of an MDM server that does policy verification and proxys Active Sync traffic to our Exchange environment. After the upgrade we noticed that a small portion of our users (appears to be all iOS 4 devices) are unable to sync any longer due to the fact that they are not being verified by the MDM server.

 

We have looked for blocks on the ASM and found nothing, in taking traces we seen traffic passing through the ASM, and the MDM server is showing the users as being authenticated but it never checks them in. When we failed this application back to 10.2.0 box everything cleared up.

 

I have a case open with support that I am actively working, I just thought I would see if anyone else has seen anything weird like this after an upgrade to 11.2
