Hi there.
I'm setting up a new F5 device and need to enable FIPS mode. I've added the FIPS license and validated that the FIPS module is active. However, when trying to configure HSM FIPS running fipsutil info I'm getting the error "No supported FIPS device found". What does this mean? There is not FIPS HSM installed?
I want to validate whether the HSM just needs to be properly set up or if there are any other prerequisites needed to enable FIPS with the current license.
Any tips or steps you can provide to troubleshoot this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

The error "No supported FIPS device found" suggests your F5 device can't detect a compatible FIPS HSM. Ensure HSM compatibility, proper installation, activation, and a valid FIPS license.

Thanks @Paulius
Precisaly I'm following those links to FIPS setup. Getting error "No supported FIPS device found". Docs don't mention this error.
Could this error appears because there is no HSM?
Could the F5 device has the correct license but no HSM (this is not VE)? If yes, how could start the FIPS setup?
If anyone saw this error and know how to fix it, could you please share the knowledge?

@danielm1 Did you install the actual HSM in your F5 device? What F5 device do you have?
