find cause for the issue : 01150306:3: Error connecting to named socket 'Connection refused'.

Question

Customer has a big-ip DNS setup on Viprion. We faced the below error in Configuration Utility.

It is running version 15.0.1. I am unable to trace any information related to error : 01150306 (mentioned below)

There are no qkview logs which can tell what went wrong with the bind.

The possible issue seems with the named service

Debug log for zrd and bind needs to be captured if the event occurs frequently to identify the possible reason behind this error.

The workaround will be to restart the 'named' and 'zrd'.
