Basic snmp monitoring question active passive

We have both the active and passive interfaces in our monitoring tool configured with snmp creds. Only the active node is responding to snmp requests, is this normal or is there configuration needed ...

Hello Ckcompton.

Both devices can respond to SNMP queries, but make sure that you are asking for an IP that is physically attached to this device, instead of using a floating IP.
