In the log rotation config file, there is a comment that states the file should not be modified as it is auto-generated. I understand the tush config for the log-rotate control the creation of this file, but is there a way to modify the post rotation action? I would like to copy the newly rotated log file to another server via scp. I could put a file to her run daily and just grab any logs modified since midnight yesterday but that is kludgy. Copying the file post rotate would be a more elegant way to do it.
Does anyone know if I can set my own post rotate action?
