You cannot bitshift but you can mulitply.

 

So why not use something like the below instead ?

 

Am I missing something ?

 

 

Generating compiled code on the fly seems like a bit overkill for this (though pretty cool)

 

 

Note : Untested function, *should* work as expected

 

function Convert-To64Bit([Int32] $high, [Int32] $low)

 

{

 

return $high * [Int64][System.Math]::Pow(2,32) + $low

 

}
