Why wont FirePass plugins work with my Intel based MAC OS X?

After troubleshooting for what seemed like weeks, my friend Bill from Product Development discovered the solution.

 

 

Find the actual application (fire-fox, safari, etc.) in the finder, and bring up it's properties. Check the box "run under Rosetta mode". Simply restart your browser, and presto, the plug-ins should work.

 

 

I hope this saves others from the frustration I had!

    The next version (6.02) of FirePass will have Intel MAC support. Also, if you run into other issues in the future, check out AskF5 (tech.f5.com - requires registration). There is a solution published for that specific issue: https://tech.f5.com/home/solutions/sol6468.html
