Why GUI is different?
Hi Please see the two pictures. Why the two F5 GUI interface are different? One of them has "local traffic" and other does not. Thank you
Can you send me a link which tells how to assign vlan from host to gues? I would like to know the relation between the two F5. Thank you so much!
If you look at System > resource provisioning
You will see that one is provisioned as a VCMP Host, and the other is provisioned with LTM.
I dare say the first one is hosting the second one as a virtual (or it could be hosting others).

Thank you for reply. You say the first one is host and second one is virtual. but first one should be virtual, and second one should be host, right? can you confirm it?
If on the first one you go Vcmp > Guest List
It will show you all the virtual F5's on the box. Is the second F5 listed in that list?

Great! I see it. So, I would like to know how the two F5 share/allocate physical interface and vlan?
In the properties of the guest, you can assign VLANs from the host to the guest, if the networking is setup properly on the host, it will easily be applied to the guest.
