Where is folder Common located?
When I am logged in our F5 big IP through cli ssl connection I cannot find folder /Common. There is same situation when I log in with WinSCP which has graphical browsing capabilities. So, where is that folder located and if it is visible by user with admin privileges? We have 12.1.3. big ip version. Thanks.

What exactly you are looking? By default all the configuration store in /Common partitions untill its(partitions) not specified.
I.e
--> here partition name could be Common or any thing../config/partitions
By default bigip configuration store inside
directory, i.e bigip.conf, bigip_base.conf, etc./config
Let us know if any specific configuration you are looking...
Cheers..

Hi, Thank you for response. Here is what I have when go to /config/partitions directory:
[root@bnk-ss-waf01:ModuleNotLicensed:Active:Standalone] partitions ls -l total 0 [root@bnk-ss-waf01:ModuleNotLicensed:Active:Standalone] partitions
So, does /Common folder exist or not? I cannot find it in my F5 filesystem. Or maybe partition where is /config folder is mounted is named "common"?
Best regards, Drasko

All partitions files except Common are stored in /config/partitions
Common partition files are stored in /config root directory

Also, you can find useful 'Common' files directly accessing /Config/filestore/files_d/Common_d/

Hi all,
Thank you for responses it was about my misunderstanding of F5 administrative partitions. I by mistake did not make differences between classic linux partitions and F5 administrative partitions, I assumed it as same thing. Now I caught what is F5 admin partition and what is common partition, is is not folder, it is about F5 configuration entity.
