Where is folder Common located?

When I am logged in our F5 big IP through cli ssl connection I cannot find folder /Common. There is same situation when I log in with WinSCP which has graphical browsing capabilities. So, where is th...

What exactly you are looking? By default all the configuration store in /Common partitions untill its(partitions) not specified.

I.e 

/config/partitions
--> here partition name could be Common or any thing..

By default bigip configuration store inside 

/config
directory, i.e bigip.conf, bigip_base.conf, etc.

Let us know if any specific configuration you are looking...

So, does /Common folder exist on F5 or not?

  • Not exist 
    /Common
    folder

I cannot find it in my F5 filesystem.

  • By default all the F5 configuration store in 

    /config
    folder, until partition not defined.

    i.e ltm snatpool /Common/abc-sb-devcentral

Or maybe partition where is /config folder is mounted is named "common"?

  • May be but never seen article on this..
