What is use of Profile Type while creating Access Policy
In 11.5.0 there are different profile types are available. We have created profile type “ All” for VPN access. As per document it is suggested to use “SSL-VPN” for remote access. What is impact of selecting "All" instead of specific profile type, how it will impact VPN functionality, performance and other parameters ?
- LTM-APM: For web access only
- SSL-VPN: For remote access only
- SWG-Explicit: For Secure Web Gateway explicit forward proxy
- SWG-Transparent: For Secure Web Gateway transparent forward proxy
- SSO: For single sign-on without an access policy
- All: For most uses

AFAIK (And I admit I'm prepared to be corrected on this one), the effect on performance should be... none...
The different profiles simply pre-select some options. For example SWG-xxx selects NTLM authentication... SSO just lets you configure SSO parameters etc.
So in essence simply making the configuration less confusing when you quickly want to configure a specific type of access policy profile.
