As per document it is suggested to use “SSL-VPN” for remote access.

CirrocumulusAFAIK (And I admit I'm prepared to be corrected on this one), the effect on performance should be... none...
The different profiles simply pre-select some options. For example SWG-xxx selects NTLM authentication... SSO just lets you configure SSO parameters etc.
So in essence simply making the configuration less confusing when you quickly want to configure a specific type of access policy profile.
