I think so too

 

If I have hostname "bigip-01.f5.com"

 

and mgmt IP is default [192.168.1.245]

 

and host ip is [10.10.10.10]

 

I can't do anything with 10.10.10.10 either manage or ping or else. dns lookup is not found too.

 

What host ip use for?
