WAM + Multiconnect

Hello !!!

Im trying to get a better understanding of the way Webaccelerator works and I have a

strongbox up and running with 9.4.8 on one partition and 10.0 on the other partition.

The multiconnect feature really caught my eye while I was looking through all of the documentation

so i decided to give it a try.

I licensed the WAM module on both versions and created a pool with a web application that we have onsite just to get a better understanding of how wam and multiconnect works.

I configured WAM and Multiconnect as per the documentation and when i use http watch I can see where the WA changes all of the links and all of the objects get downloaded successfully. I works beutifully but then i try to log on the application prompts me to logon continuously, when i take a closer look at the login screen i see that it is asking me to log in to the actual host (host.domain.com) and to every subdomain host that was configured in order to get multiconnect to work (wa1.host.domain.com), (wa2.host.domain.com).

Initially i thought this could be an issue where the WA should cache the creds and later feed them into later authentication so I looked up all the documentation i could find but didnt find anything that referenced this scenario.

I did find a solution which talks about multiconnect and NTLM authentication where you are supposed to enable multiconnect on the policy plus manipulate the pvsystem.conf file in /config/wa/, i tried the fix and did a wa_clear_cache and a bigstart pvc restart and tried the app but i still get multiple sign on popups for the different hosts that are configured for multiconnect.

Just wondering if anyone has faced this and if you can guide me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.
