Vlan-tagging in Workstation/Player

Anyone know if it's possible to get the virtual networking environment within VMware workstation or player to handle vlan tags, and if so, how? I know this can be done in esx/esxi with virtual guest ...

Just to confirm that this works great in VMware workstation. It'll be in a tech tip later this week, but here's what I have configured on LTM VE and on a Vyatta Open Networking virtual appliance. I should note that the LTM VE configuration is performed in tmsh, and the Vyatta configuration is done logged into the appliance as vyatta/vyatta.
