Vlan-tagging in Workstation/Player

Anyone know if it's possible to get the virtual networking environment within VMware workstation or player to handle vlan tags, and if so, how? I know this can be done in esx/esxi with virtual guest ...

Option 1, dynamips can emulate a cisco device to handle vlan tags.
