Vlan configuration on F5 BigIp
Hi all, I'm trying F5 on my virtual machine, and I need to simulate, before buying it, vlan configuration for different server, for instance I have, for every vlan, tree server 10.10.10.0/28, 11.103.105.0/28 and 10.122.80.0/28.
For every network I configured different vip.
I ask to community if there is a tutorial about how to configure, for back end servers, vlan and trunk, and how to able it to communicate to different server.
Awaiting news.
Regards Paolo

Initial config.
Dev central and support.f5 has pretty much everything you will need for initial setups.

Hi Frank, many thanks for your fast reply but, In my virtual configuration, I need to create for every single back end servers, separate vlans.
I registered my F5 and it's works only for a single network where I configured my backend servers.
At the moment My LB has 4 interfaces , internal, external, management and h.a. My target is to create vlan to put different backend servers, I read on internet that, the only way to do it is to create a trunk where I can put all vlans.
Is there a tutorial about how to do it ?
Many thanks again for your cooperation.
Awaiting your news. Paolo

Hi Frank, many thanks for your coop.
Before configuring trunk I read and i followed all step to do it, now the problem is that when I create a vlan inside my F5, for each of them I associated a vlan id and I did the same on vmware workstation.
The problem is that I can't ping from F5 to server and viceversa, by server, I put as gateway the Self ip vlan associated on server.... From my pc I can ping to F5 and server but, from F5 no...
I hope, with your help, to fix the problem.
Many thanks again for your kindly coop.
