Virtual Server traffic processing .. basic question - protocol setting
Guys Simple Q on VS traffic processing From the link below we have an pretty obvious explanation around how a VS gets selected BUT we seem to be missing the bit about the protocol setting. Q. Is it the case that if you have say a UDP VS that it will not process TCP traffic : therefore really protocol selection is the first step in VS selection ? If so should this be documented on the below .. https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/14000/800/sol14800.html

Another dumb addition to this have F5 documented any where the VS settings available for 11.6 ? Link below has a section " Configuration settings for a virtual server" for 10,x versions but none of the 11.6 documentation has an equivalent table. Post 10.x the documentation in general is vastly more time consuming to track down... https://devcentral.f5.com/s/feed/0D51T00006i7c0fSAA - Andy_McGrath

VS processing order only applies to VS's that conflict, UDP and TCP cannot conflict as different layer 4 protocols.
