Aug 20, 2011Virtual Server selection??
Hi
I have two virtual servers.
one is listened on destination 192.168.1.0:any, and the other is listened on destination "any:8000"
Both VS are assigned on the same VLAN. I would like to know if the packet destination is 192.168.1.10 with port 8000, which VS will be triggered?
Please help

As Nitass suggested from the SOLs, the < specific IP>:< any port > VS would have higher precedence:
http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/6000/400/sol6459.html
For example, a BIG-IP system has the following VIPs configured on the inbound VLAN:
10.0.0.0/8:80
10.10.0.0/16:80
20.0.0.0/8:*
*:80 (alternatively noted as 0.0.0.0/0:80)
*:* (alternatively noted as any:any, 0.0.0.0/0:any)
