Virtual Server responding to ping, http timeout
Hi,
I have a little problem with my BigIP Loadbalancing. I have the following :
An "img" pool which is just 9 http servers serving images. A virtual server "img_vs" which has a public IP address.
So, my entire pool is pinging from my BigIP, and they all respond to http requests from the BigIP. (Tried with CURL, they respond with the correct page).
The problem is, that when I try to access to my Virtual Server, my request (through Curl or standard browser) takes some time, then it timeouts.
Any idea ?

Is the client on the same network as the servers in the pool? If so you need to enable SNAT.

Thanks for the answer, SNAT is enabled. I try with clients in the same network and with clients in the outside, and neither work. - IheartF5_45022

That is, enable 'SNAT automap' on the virtual server. - Rawkins_224854

If you talk about "SNAT Pool", it is already on "Auto Map"

Is there a firewall involved? Could the floating self IP (if you are running a redundant pair), which is where traffic through the vs will be SNATd to, be blocked from reaching the servers? The healthchecks and command line cURLs, will originate from the non-floating self IPs.

Alternatively....is there NO floating self IP configured on the egress interface?

In which case it may choose a floating IP from another interface (if this exists).
