Version 17.1.2.x and 17.5.x will be updated in parallel. See: bigip 17-5-0 release-notes
17.1.x will be supported until March 2027, 17.5.x January 1, 2029. See: K5903: BIG-IP software support policy
By that time you should have migrated to BIG-IP Next.
