VDI without PCoIP
We recently deployed the VDI iapp for both internal and external connections. The external connection is having an issue loading the virtual desktop once authenticated. We are using a Wyse thin client, model 5212, which does not appear to support PCoIP. When adding a connection, only ICA and RDP are the supported connection protocols. A tcpdump showed traffic reaching the external interface and being load balanced to the VDI servers internally but all over 443. The traffic however resets, and the wyse client gets a network I/O error after timing out. Has anyone successfully deployed VMWare view using these wyse clients and the vdi iApp for external connections?

So even configuring the remote desktop resource using a diff type (citrix ICA or RDP) would not help in this case? - Greg_Crosby_319Historic F5 Account
Horizon View supports RDP, but BIG-IP currently does not support RDP with Horizon View. BIG-IP does support RDP independently, see DG for more details. ICA is display protocol for Citrix which BIG-IP supports, but requires Citrix services/servers rather then Horizon View servers.
