Feb 16, 2015vCMP Scalability using ScaleN Clustering
Hi,
I want to know if its possible to SCALE OUT(horizontal) in terms of getting more vCPUs for a Guest ?
E.g. I have a 2 x 7250v in a cluster(A/S) running 2vCMP instances each having 4 vCPU. I cannot...

Feb 16, 2015Hi Akhtars, a vCMP guest cannot be deployed across multiple hosts.
So the capacity is limited to number of cores and storage of a single host.
You may consider to deploy your service across multiple virtual servers distributed to multiple traffic-groups all handled in a single sync-failover device-group.
The device-group will include vCMP guests on different hosts.
I hope this answered your question.
Thanks, Stephan
