v11 API support?
Just wondering -- will a pycontrol update be required for v11 API support?
- L4L7_53191NimbostratusYes - I'll be looking at it later this week.
- L4L7_53191NimbostratusUpdate: Hopefully I'll have an updated pyControl out soon with v11 support, as well as some other minor enhancements. I'll work on it this weekend.
- mhite_60883CirrocumulusAwesome! You are a scholar and a gentleman!
- dkulinski_23252NimbostratusAny updates?
- Thomas_WeisshaaNimbostratusHi Matt,
- L4L7_53191NimbostratusHey Gang: a couple of things. First, pyControl that you've got today actually "supports" v11, you just have to do it manually by modifying the Suds client object (via its setoptions() calls). The changes I started on way back basically was a convenience wrapper around the v11 session calls.
- Justin_Cook_433NimbostratusI have access to v11 on LTM appliances. Wouldn't mind helping you out on a test suite.
- L4L7_53191NimbostratusThomas: just sent you the module. Also, I am setting up a git repo for this so folks can download / add / fix / improve the library. Long overdue. I'll notify once I've got it out there.

Here you go:
pass in sessions=True as a kwarg when you instantiate the client.
- JRahmAdminhey guys, just a note that a new python library is now available, called bigsuds, for download over in the download folder. I converted a few of the pc2 scripts to bigsuds and will continue on more as I have time. Article on the differences and links to the scripts in the codeshare:
